From the President
Last month was a busy month. The club bar was repaired, and it looks good. Thank you, Russel for all of your hard work, and everyone else that pitched in to help and transport the bar. The improvements should make it easier to take to Bluebonnet next year. The old bar is still in the process of being fixed. If anyone knows of anyone who would be interested in buying it let me know, otherwise I will see if the used equipment place on North Treadway is interested in it.
Â
We also did our annual Big Brew at the Old Cotton Warehouse on May 9th. We had some people express interest, and the cream soda was a hit. Thank you Travis for the opportunity to do that. Travis has also invited me to be on his podcast July 24th. More details to follow on this.

New Business
Our wort challenge kickoff with Plateau Brewing was a good day in San Angelo. We met the owner of Wandering minds brewery, and he was kind enough to share some of his strong unique beers. We have 4 to share with the club. As always Dan was a gracious host sharing the day with us and some of his good brews. The judging will take place at the end of July or beginning of August. We will have the usual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as a Brewer’s Choice that will be brewed on their system. The day ended with a quick stop at Horny Toad Brewery. If you have never been there, stop by. The beer is good.

Upcoming EventsÂ
There is no meeting or beer dinner scheduled for June. However, I do need the officers and board members to send me some dates that you would be available for a board meeting. Hoppy hour will be June 27th at Sunn Haus for Bingo.
