August Brew Blast

Well, we have 5 months left in the year and events scheduled in all of them so here is the recap.

We finished July with a great beer dinner, thank you Marty and Pat. Also, we had our Bluebonnet meeting. I feel pretty good about what we are planning and the number of members going. The goal this year is best bar and beer, and hopefully some club medals.

The 2026 Wort Challenge with SunnHaus kicked off July 26, turn in date TBD.

 Russell is working hard on the old bar with help from Dave. The reveal should be soon so get the word out we are planning to sell it. It will have 8 taps, wheels, 9 ball lock kegs,  and CO2 controls will be on the outside along with sanke fittings for future conversions. 

Upcoming Events

The August meeting will be held at Grain Theory with a tech talk from Jeramie Thursday August 13th at 5:30. The meeting topics will be the club raffle (We have 500 dollars in gift certificate and prizes), Club campout, beer summit, and a team for Iron Mash.

September, Club campout the 18th to 21st, Beer summit Sept 26, club meeting to be held at campout.

October, Iron mash Oct 4th, club meeting TBD, club officer nominations. 

November - club elections

December - Christmas party/meeting
