We have 4 months left in the year and events scheduled in all of them so here is the recap.
Upcoming Events
Club Raffle - The raffle will have 2 prize packages. The first place package includes 4 steak night passes for The Mill and a 25$ visa card. The second place package includes a $100 Sunn Haus gift card, $40 brick oven gift card, $25 Grain Theory gift card, and a $20 gift card to Zero One Alehouse in San Angelo. As we did last year, the club will sell 50 ten-dollar tickets. As soon as all tickets have been sold we will have the drawing and announce the winner. Anyone can see Gary before the campout for tickets, and the rest will be distributed at the campout.
Single Style Beer Competition - Judging will take place at the campout. Entries are due to Gary no later than September 15.
Club campout - September 18th - 21st, Please RSVP when or what days you will be attending so we can make the proper arrangements. The meeting and judging will be held on Saturday and the club brew will be Sunday starting after breakfast. Think about the ingredients that you want to bring. I know of one right now and the leftover pancakes from Saturday's breakfast have been spoken for to go in the brew. This year we will be at a different site than previous years. We will be at Group shelter 7. This site does have the same room for RV and tent camping, the covered area, and enclosed building with the kitchen area. I will be taking a road trip this week to check out the site and will post a video on our group chat.
Beer Summit - Sept 26, I have not received a response from the organizers yet. Individual tickets this year are 3 tiered including $70, $150 and $250 for VIP. As of now unless I hear something good this will be an individual thing or sign up to volunteer.
October - Iron mash Oct 4th, club meeting TBD, club officer nominations.
November - club elections
December - Christmas party/meeting
And on a side note, I have been in contact with Ben E.
Keith and we are scheduled for January's meeting.
